One great feature about Google Drive is that it can house all of your files including images, videos, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and Word documents etc. You can choose to keep files in their original format and use Drive to ‘house’ or back up your files or you can convert your files to Google Format. Storing files on any device is risky as there is no guarantee that the files can be recovered.

Here is a PSA I made to remind students and faculty to save their files to drive, as well as a screencast to show how to upload files, and step-by-step directions for downloading.

Google drive was going to start the technology and education that was getting the tips on this it was amazing to know on this. I want to make my own drive that was possible with the help of these videos that I got after open this blog.

I've been using Google Drive since 2012 and I am actually surprised that Google is not doing something about this, nor an improvement about the feature. When you need to email a huge file, you need to put it first on the Google drive and it is just the link that will be sent there. For me, it's quite a hassle but I have no choice because I am a frequent user of the driver itself and I need it to function on an everyday basis. Perhaps, it's about time for me to make some suggestions on Google!
